I have got through numerous vets for my dog. These folks are exceptional. They actually spend time with us, get to know us. They look for the root of the problem. Like “maybe it diet. Let’s change that and see. “ , rather than ordering a battery of expensive tests. The Doctors, technicians, and other staff are the best.

Dr Patrick and his entire team are wonderful I met them when I was fostering for RezDawg and now my 4 pets go there He saw my new rescue who was a “puppy mill” breeder and knew all her quirks and gave me great advice for her today both my dogs saw Dr V who was also wonderful He gave us great care and advice for our 13 1/2 year old Golden

Had to find a new vet after the one I've been taking My pets to for 35 + years finally retired. Rock Creek was recommended by my cousin who takes her foster animals here. It's amazing, stay is knowledgeable and experienced. My boy Dwhite is blind and needs some encouragement to go into new places and they were fantastic with him. Very happy with Rock Creek.

Have taken my pit mix in to this clinic several times for a variety of issues and overall the experience has been great. My dog is not the friendliest & they are very understanding and accommodating about that. However, our most recent visit, my dog needed surgery for a hematoma he sustained from a foxtail getting in his ear. To my knowledge, surgery went well, which I am grateful for. The only gripe I have is that my dog has to wear a head wrap for 3 weeks to keep him from shaking his head/scratching his ear. And the wrap they provided does not fit my dogs head. They did not have his size apparently. So needless to say, this wrap just comes right off the second he moves, let alone shakes. It has made the process extremely difficult as I have to supervise him nonstop & unnecessarily stressful, as the consequence of him shaking his head will be having to repeat the surgery. They recommended shopping around at local pet stores for his size wrap (L) which kind of defeats the purpose since I can’t leave my dog alone at all this point. Also a bit of a slap in the face to be charged for the XL wrap when it’s completely insufficient & they knew it would be before I even left their office. Anyways, my advice would be to call them and ask if they have everything required to perform your pets surgery, (including aftercare supplies) beforehand.
